Josh and his Tiger Cub Scouts (Den 10 of Pack 132) had a go-see-it trip today. We were able to partake in a tour of one of the fire houses in Mesa, AZ. We signed up Josh for basketball at the YMCA in Chandler. This pic is of him at his first game a couple of weeks ago. He is really enjoying himself at the game and at practice. I had my last appt last week to get my next steps in my recovery. While I still have to use the crutches to get around, I am cleared for 50% weight bearing on my leg. We have had Maya (Blue Tick Coonhound mix) for about 10 months now. We got her when she was less than 8 weeks old from a foster home. Sometimes, time really does fly by. These past couple of weeks have been pretty busy. The main thing that has happened is that my daughter had to have her appendix removed. She is doing much better 1 week after the surgery, and is well enough to go to the Cheetah Girl Concert... This past week has been filled with stress, frustration, pain, etc. This brings up the question of the appendix.
