First tooth - finally gone!

It's been a long time comin, but Josh finally lost his first tooth. Don't mind the actual date of this blog posting - it actually happened at least a month ago.

The process of the tooth actually coming out was not your expected method. Josh actually had his first two permanent lower teeth come in _behind_ the existing set. Of course, to have them actually move into place, the existing set had to go. After weeks of cajoling, wiggling and twisting - the first one came out.

Now that tooth is finally out, the one next to it came out a few weeks later and the two permanent teeth are taking their place just fine. Things in other areas need to progress as well, and his two front top teeth are also starting to become loose. Maybe Josh will be wishing for his two front teeth for Christmas!
