First tooth - finally gone!

It's been a long time comin, but Josh finally lost his first tooth. Don't mind the actual date of this blog posting - it actually happened at least a month ago.

The process of the tooth actually coming out was not your expected method. Josh actually had his first two permanent lower teeth come in _behind_ the existing set. Of course, to have them actually move into place, the existing set had to go. After weeks of cajoling, wiggling and twisting - the first one came out.

Now that tooth is finally out, the one next to it came out a few weeks later and the two permanent teeth are taking their place just fine. Things in other areas need to progress as well, and his two front top teeth are also starting to become loose. Maybe Josh will be wishing for his two front teeth for Christmas!

Improving the low end

I don't even remember the last time I actually posted something to this blog. What better way to get back into the swing of things than to post about my new toy :)

What is this monstrocity that you see before you? It's my new subwoofer. It's the PC12-plus by SV Sound. You can see it sitting next to my existing Klipsch floor speaker - and it's actually taller! It only has a single driver in the unit, but this thing KICKS. I have yet to sit down with a good action flick with it, but it will be quite the joy to watch one cranked up to at least 90 db :) I just hope I don't break anything when I do...
