Well, not really a goal - but it was a good effort.
Today was Joshua's first soccer game. He did surprisingly well considering he had only one practice before the game. He got to experience playing on the field for a majority of the game and a little time in the goalie position. It took him a while to warm up to the situation and get a bit more aggressive to the ball, but once he did he was able to dribble the ball up the field a few times and get close to scoring.
I'm hoping soccer will take a bit better than basketball did. There is so much randomness out there right now, it gives him more opportunities to actually get the ball under his control and make an impact to the game.
Now I should cut the grass in the backyard and play some with him :)
