Holy Cow.I had the pleasure of finding some of these at Whole Foods about a month ago. I finally decided to grab the bottle and enjoy it. Enjoy is an understatement. Given that this bottle of ale has an alcohol content of 20%, this thing is pretty darned potent. One whiff and you can definitely tell that this sucker has a bit of some extra kick.
The additional amount of alcohol is a bit to get used to, and this is definitely not a brew I could have every day. The flavor is wonderful and the hoppyness of the IPA is definitely tasty. Not a chugger, but a pleasant drink that leaves you feeling pretty good the rest of the night. If I find it on the shelves again, will grab another bottle. It's something to sip and enjoy - which I did.
